Torchwood: Miracle Day
The 10-episode Torchwood: Miracle Day, a co-production between Starz and the BBC, has now aired in the US, UK, Australia and Canada and is currently running in New Zealand. Representing Torchwood, John joined other members of the cast at the San Diego Comic Con on 22-23 July. Miracle Day page:
Tonight's The Night
The third series of Tonight's The Night, co-produced by the BBC and Barrowman Barker Productions, won its slot most weeks in BBC1's primetime Saturday night schedule. Keep your fingers crossed for another series of making dreams come true!
The format has been sold to a number of other territories, including Norway, Sweden, China and The Ukraine, and the show is also in development in Canada, so look out for Tonight's The Night globally soon!
Concert Tour 2011
John is currently writing his 27-venue concert tour which starts in Northampton on 19 October and concludes in Glasgow on 24 November. The tour itinerary also includes for the first time a concert performance in Dublin.
New CD: The Very Best of John Barrowman
On 5 September, John released his new album, The Very Best of John Barrowman, a compilation of the best tracks from his previous three CDs and also featuring two new songs: I Owe It All To You and Tonight's The Night.

Robinson Crusoe and the Caribbean Pirates
Following the concert tour, John will be getting ready for the panto season. He's returning to the Clyde Auditorium at the SECC in Glasgow from 17 December to 7 January, to take the title role alongside The Krankies in Robinson Crusoe and the Caribbean Pirates. There's still time to buy tickets, but don't leave it too late as some performances are already sold out!

HIM Male Grooming Range
QVC viewers saw John four times in September. First to promote the new album and then three times to introduce his new range of male grooming products - HIM.
Not only did the initial stock sell out during John's presentation, but the entire back-up stock of the Discovery - 5 item trial pack was snapped up too! Don't worry if you've missed the first opportunity to try HIM - stock of the full-sized items is expected to be available soon. Further products are planned to be added to the range, so look out for more promotional appearances.
Animals At Work
John has continued to present the children's show Animals At Work, which aired on the UK's CBBC channel, with repeats on BBC1.
John recently spent time with the Hustle team, filming an episode for the new series of the show, expected to be broadcast in the Spring.
Watson and Oliver
John also filmed a guest star appearance for BBC2's new comedy sketch show, Watson and Oliver. This is likely to be aired early in the New Year.
John and his sister, Carole E Barrowman, have been collaborating on a fantasy novel for children, Hollow Earth, to be published by Buster Books, an imprint of Michael O'Mara Books. This first book in the series of fantasy novels is expected to be published in February.
Also in September, John opened the new Dogs Trust charity shop in Cowbridge, South Wales and tweeted a video of the huge crowd who turned out:
He has recently appeared on the TV shows: The Wright Stuff, Alan Titchmarsh Show, Daybreak and Loose Women. On 6 October, he will film two guest appearances on The Chris Moyles' Quiz Show.
