Strictly Come Dancing pits pro-celebrity couples against each other in a bid to be crowned ballroom dancing king or queen. A long-time fan of the show, John has performed on the results show and taken part in the main show's sister show, It Takes Two, in which a panel of guests discuss the performances, costumes and music.
In 2010, John received his dream invitation - to take part in Strictly's Christmas Special and compete for the coveted Glitter Star. Dancing a sparkling Christmas-themed quickstep with his partner, Kristina Rihanoff, John finished at the top of the judges' leader board and took the competition after the studio audience agreed and voted them the winners!
