Orion Chronicles: Nephilim
John and Carole's new novel in the Orion Chronicles series will be titled Nephilim.
Seventeen-year-old Rémy is a Conjuror – someone who can alter reality with his music. But such a talent comes with a price. He and his superpowered friends, Matt and Em Calder, are engaged in a dangerous battle to save humanity as we know it.
If they are to succeed, they must first decide who to trust. An amoral seventeenth-century artist? A quick-witted gang leader? Or a nephilim, half-angel and half-human, with silver-flecked wings? But time is running out. The friends must take action soon. For when fallen angels rule, chaos will reign.
Nephilim will be released in the UK by Head of Zeus in 2017.

Torchwood: The Lives of Captain Jack
Captain Jack has led an extraordinary set of lives. We all know he travelled with the Doctor, we all know he ran Torchwood - but what else did he get up to? Find out in The Lives of Captain Jack, a set of four full-cast audio adventures from Big Finish, made under licence from BBC Worldwide, and due for release in June 2017. These four adventures, written by Guy Adams and James Goss, see Captain Jack in different times and on different planets, doing battle with a variety of strange and horrible enemies, from Mother Nothing to the Council Of Three.
"What's great about these stories," says John, "is that they're the kind of episode we didn't have time for on TV – exploring aspects of Jack that you've never seen before in a timey-wimey way. If you're a fan of Captain Jack, or Torchwood or Doctor Who, then I say get them."
