Panto Launch Press Release from Qdos Entertainment:

Hot on the heels of their phenomenal success and record-breaking Christmas show at the Clyde Auditorium last year, John Barrowman and The Krankies made an early visit to Glasgow to launch this year's pantomime at the SECC today (Monday 8 October 2012).

John and The Krankies took time out to get to know Daisy the pantomime cow outside the SECC's Clyde Auditorium in advance of the panto this year. They were joined by children with Down's syndrome who receive support from Down's Syndrome Scotland, one of John's chosen charities.

Jonathan Kiley, executive producer of Jack and the Beanstalk said "With last year's pantomime receiving such an amazing response from Scottish audiences, we were so pleased that John Barrowman and The Krankies agreed to return to the SECC this year. Together with amazing 3D special effects, this year's pantomime is going to be bigger and more spectacular than ever."

The use of 3D special effects in previous Qdos Entertainment pantomimes at the SECC has been so popular with audiences that Jack and the Beanstalk will feature brand-new and spectacular surprises including a fantastic 3D Giant and an amazing journey through the giant's castle!

Jack and the Beanstalk runs at the SECC Clyde Auditorium from Saturday, 15 December 2012 to Sunday, 6 January 2013. Tickets, priced from £12.00, can be booked on 0844 395 4000 or online at www.ticketSOUP.com. For fantastic group rates - including reserve now, pay later - telephone 0844 395 4010.
