National Lottery Awards - New Forest Nightstop
While filming for the National Lottery Awards, John visited the New Forest Nightstop charity, winner of an Award in 2012. He subsequently was delighted to become patron of the charity. The National Lottery Awards 2013 will be broadcast on BBC1 on 11 September.
In a press release published by the National Lottery on 3 September, John said:
"Many of us take for granted having a warm and safe place to stay and someone at home for support. New Forest Nightstop provides welcoming places for young people to stay, offering them safety and hope. They really do save lives. I look forward to doing what I can to support their tremendous work."
